Sports is an integral part of the curriculum at Orchids. Orchids Premiere Sports League was started this Academic year in which all the five branches across Bangalore participated. The competitions were in different categories and for different sports as well. Inauguration of the League was held at Orchids-The International school in Sarjapur during which a Walk past by all the teams was held which was followed by the Dean Ms.Indu declaring the Sports League open.
The Premier Sports League was organized for all Orchids schools in Bangalore. The Football and Skating Competitions were held at Orchids-The International School in BTM Layout. The football matches generated a lot of excited participation from the students. Skating competitions were also conducted for the participants and the spirit of sportsmanship was well-evident among the students.
The Swimming competition for various age groups was hosted at Sarjapur school and students were excited to represent their school and participated in the competition. Students participated with a lot of enthusiasm and vigor.
Parents were also invited to participate in the Sports League. A throw ball match was organized for them, in which they participated very enthusiastically. At the end of the event, medals and trophies were awarded by the Dean to the winners. It was a day of fun and excitement for all present at the event
