Meridian School stages Harry Potter’s travelogue



The primary section of Meridian School for Boys and Girls, Banjara Hills, staged Harry Potter’s Journey from Hogwarts to the Himalayas on December 20, day one of the 3-day Annual Day celebrations. The evening saw the school campus transforming into a magical land of witchcraft and wizardry. The event was graced by the founders of the school, Managing Director of Butta Group, Butta Neelakant, Member of Parliament Butta Renuka, CEO and senior principal D. Usha Reddy.


The programme began with a ceremonial lighting of lamp and a prayer song.Sports Day celebrated

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Atmakuri Rama Rao School celebrated Sports Day on December 19. M. Shiva Prasad, Joint Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, was the chief guest on the occasion. Academic coordinator Shubhra welcomed the gathering.
This was entailed by the unfurling of the school flag and declaration of the meet open by the chief guest, followed by the lighting of the torch by the school sports captains and releasing balloons. Prize distribution ceremony was held later.

Bharatuya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyshram celebrated Annual Sports Day December 22 on the school premises. S. Gopalakrishnan, Vice-Chairman, BVB, Hyderabad Kendra was the chief guest. The chief guest hoisted the school flag and declared the meet open.Delhi Public School, Nacharam is hosted the snowy, thematic Winter Sports Day that calls out to “Live the Adventure…. with Olaf” the mascot in his wonderful Toyland on December 19. Vishnu Vardhan, tennis player, was the chief guest. Olaf is a special mascot of the winter season.

The event began with a guard of honour to Mr. Vishnu Vardhan, DPS chairman Komaraiah; director Pallavi; principal Sunitha S. Rao, by the student council. Gymnastic and snooker dance drills captured the audience with their scintillating performances. As part of the Sports Day - athletic competitions were also held for kindergartners across all schools.
